At NPES, the PTA raises funds in a variety of ways:

  • Annual Giving Campaign—The NPES PTA will not ask you or your child to sell items or solicit donations to support our school. Your membership donation during the Annual Giving Campaign is our primary funding source for the PTA. Our goal is 100% participation.
  • Business Partners—We are proud and thankful to our NPE PTA Business Partners, who contribute to our PTA's financial goals. 
  • Active Business Alliances—Several local businesses partner with the PTA on NPE Spirit Nights and donate a portion of their profits to the PTA.
  • Passive Business Alliances—Kroger Community Rewards and Box Tops for Education. Link your account once and a share of what you already spend comes back to NPE. See below.
  • Corporate Matching—Many of our local employers match dollar-for-dollar donations.  Please remember to ask.  NPE PTA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit agency, EIN#: 58-2127043
  • Donations—Other donations are welcome; NPES PTA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit agency, EIN#: 58-2127043.  Please contact us at npeptatreasurer@gmail.com. 
  • Operational Income—Some of our programs, such as the school yearbook, play, field trip t-shirts, and spirit wear, are self-funding. These programs are typically projected to break even or generate a small profit to support future programs.

Why should I Give?

Last year alone, our families raised more than $156,000, and the PTA invested over $160,000 right back into New Prospect — from the $39,000 Boosterthon Fun Run to classroom mini-grants, family events, and campus upgrades. Your support pays for enrichment programs, classroom resources and family events, and every student gets the benefit. Kroger Community Rewards

Link your Kroger Plus card to New Prospect and Kroger sends us a share of what you spend — at no cost to you.

  1. Go to Kroger Community Rewards and sign in to your Kroger account.
  2. Under My Account > Community Rewards, choose Enroll.
  3. Search for New Prospect Elementary and select us.

You have to re-enroll every year, so it is worth doing again each August even if you signed up before.

Box Tops for Education

There is nothing to clip anymore — Box Tops went digital, so you scan your grocery receipt instead. Each Box Tops product is worth 10 cents for our school.

  1. Get the free Box Tops app.
  2. Choose New Prospect Elementary as your school.
  3. Photograph your receipt within 14 days of shopping — the app finds the products for you.
